Now I did not even know about this video until I went looking for it but apparently it shows the only time "The Last Stylebender" got knocked out in a fight.
It looks like some sort of Japanese event, held in a boxing ring. The video is short so I don't know if it's MMA or Kickboxing or even Muay Thai and as I don't speak Japanese I have no idea what the commentators or ringmaster were saying
However, it does show Izzy Israel Adesanya losing another fight, besides his one to Jan Blachowicz at light heavyweight in the UFC.
This fight is obviously outside of the #UFC so his record of 22 wins and 1 loss still stands, however it is interesting to watch a young Izzy in action, especially getting sparked out, as I never knew about this fight before.

Israel Adesanya Getting Knocked Out
Israel Adesanya v Jan Błachowicz - #UFC259
In the UFC, Izzy also tried to repeat Conor McGregor's success of holding two belts at two different weights when he went up a division to fight Jan Blachowicz at light heavyweight.
However, it didn't look like Izzy had prepared for the fight by gaining weight, and the much stronger and heavier fighter won the day on points.
At least Izzy didn't get knocked out though, unlike the first fight video, as Jan won on points in a unanimous decision at #UFC259.
I did have a video of the full fight for Israel Adesanya v Jan Blachowicz, however, it was someone filming the fight from the audience, so the UFC has taken it down from YouTube, if you were lucky enough to visit this page in the first 2 weeks it was up you could have watched what was a quite decent and steady phone video of the whole fight on this page. Instead, all we have are the official highlights.

I am glad people are starting to put videos up on sites other than YouTube as they get taken down so quickly from that Google-owned streaming site, and for some reason, BT is not putting up the full fight as they used to, even a whole week later. So watch it whilst you can!
UFC 271 - Main Card
Israel Adesanya v Robert Whitaker (fight 2)
After Israel stole Robert's middleweight belt down under he had been on a roll in the UFC undefeated at this weight class.
Izzy did try to go up a division and fight Jan Blachowicz at light heavyweight. However, Israel didn't seem to put much weight on, what is a very thin-framed spindly body, and the heavier fighter won, giving Israel his first loss (20,1) in the UFC.
I thought that maybe this loss might have got into Israel's headspace, having never lost and thinking you are invincible, to only get beaten, it must come as a shock to the system, and who knows what effect it had on him.
However, whatever effect the loss had on his state of mind, Israel Adesanya still managed to come out on top against rival Robert Whittaker at UFC 271.
The duo fought out a tightly contested five-rounder at #UFC271 with the Last Stylebender securing a narrow win on points.
Robert actually thought he had done enough to win and was obviously disappointed with the result, but to gain the crown he really had to do more than he did.
He was the only one of the two who got knocked to the floor in round one, and he didn't manage to cut Israel's face up at all. In fact, quite amazingly Israel was still breathing through his nose and looking unfazed and undazed at the end of round 5.
One good thing though was to see the two congratulate each other and shake hands after the fight. Unlike their first battle, there was little bad mouthing in the run-up and Israel commended Robert on taking time out after his loss and training differently for their re-match, with Robert complimenting Israel as well for having the belt. There were no Conor McGregor like slurs in the build-up to this re-match, unlike their first fight.
Personally, I thought the fight was a bit boring, Israel was very composed, kept out of Robert's range, and managed to defend all of his take-down attempts. Israel kept Robert at bay with kicks and his longer reaching jab that got through Whitaker's guard multiple times.
Robert did attempt a number of take-down attempts but Israel managed to defend them all successfully and there seemed no danger of him getting caught up in some sort of BJJ trap on the floor.
To be honest, compared to their first fight it was a bit of a letdown and it went the whole way, all 5 rounds, and Israel won narrowly on points.

BT used to put up the full fight after a week on YouTube, but now all you get are the highlights or someones phone's video from the back of the arena. Why they have changed this I have no idea, but trust me the highlights are all you need to see as there wasn't much exciting action in the bits they don't show.
Derrick Lewis v Tai Tuivasa UFC 271
The co-main event was a heavyweight battle between Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa and to me, this was a much more exciting fight to watch.
There is just something about two heavyweights, belly's out, kicking, and windmilling toe to toe that gives it that edge. With the chance of KO at any time when two men of this size go punch for punch as if boozy Brits outside a pub at closing time.
It was a shock result for me, as I had money on a double for Derick and Israel to both win, but during one tussle Tai managed to elbow Derick in the head and the force was so much it put him to the floor, the ref stepped in and that was game over, shock for the crowd but it was a real slugfest and great to watch.

One thing is for sure, if Izzy does get bored and wanted to go up to light heavyweight again he would surely need to eat a few pies and get some weight on that lean frame of his, otherwise, it will be Jan Blachowicz all over again.
Sean Strickland Continues His Rise In UFC With Split Decision Win
The American fighter continued his rise up the middleweight rankings but apologised for a poor performance, which ended in a split decision.
He was rather tame, keeping his opponent away with his jab and landing some good shots of his own which ended with a bloody face for Jack at the end. He could have gone a bit harder like the last 20 seconds, but he was just showing a cool collected master class of defending punches and takedown attempts.
However, there has been outrage by some at the judge's decision as Strickland looked in control the whole fight.Jack Hermansson his opponent was mostly hitting air all night as Strickland stayed out of his range by inches, and managed to defend against all his takedown attempts.
It was only the last few seconds where the blows were swung, with swearing coming from Strickland aimed at Hermansson, in what could have been an entertaining brawl if it hadn't have come so late.

Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya was bidding to become the fifth fighter to hold two belts at different weights but he didn't really put any bulk on himself and was the same middleweight fighting in the light heavyweight division against a man with a rock hard punch.
Let's just hope this has dented any confidence in him, everyone loses at some point.....
#UFC 2467 - Jon Jones v Dominic Reyes and Shevchenko v Chookagian
The UFC main card on their 247th event, was a great fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Katlyn Chookagian and Jon Bones Jones, probably the best light heavyweight we have seen in the UFC against the good Dominic Reyes .
The co-main event fight at #UFC247 was between the ladies. It was an impressive display bv Shevchenko, as she showed off a wide range of strikes, from downward "axe" kicks, side kicks, strikes and an impressive floor display.
She took Chookagian down multiple times and Katyln just couldn't contain her, despite her longer legs and arms which should have enabled her to hook a tight lock around her opponent when on her back. She just couldn't manage it and Shevencko picked her opponent apart bit by bit. Katlyns leg kicks hit mostly thin air, and as Shevchenko tried to narrow the distance her own leg kicks inflicted much more damage to her opponent.
Shevencko managed to split Chookagain's face open early with her strikes and once on the ground, with no bottom defense by Katlyn seeming to work, she opened up a flurry of strikes with elbows and fists and the referee had to stop the match.

The fight between Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes
The big fight was a five round display of great striking and kicking by both Jon Jones and Dominic Reyes. Jones hit the mat once but it was more of an accident from a caught kick than any strike that floored him.
The fight wen the whole 5 rounds and at the end the referees awarded the fight to the current champion, Jon Bones Jones, however many people were disputing this result, especially one referees decision to give most rounds to Jones when it was clear by the number of significant strikes that Reyes had probably won the first 3 rounds.
However the last 2 rounds are champion rounds, and it was here that Jones was in his element having fought most of his career defending his light heavyweight title. Reyes was visibly struggling, open mouthed and panting for air as Jones upped his strike count, with leg kicks, side kicks and submission attempts as Reyes spend most of the fight just circling Jones in the Octagon, making it hard for his opponent to land consecutive strikes on him accurately.

The Controversy about the result
The referees decision to award the fight to Reyes was discussed by Joe Rogan after the fight and he was upset that the decision had gone to Jones as it was quite clear to people watching that Reyes had won probably the first 3 rounds, plus he had kept upright, not hit the mat, and hadn't been taken down by any of Jon's submission attempts or strikes.
He also had more significant strikes overall than Jones which should have given the fight to him instead of the current champion.The decision of the one referee to give 4 rounds to Jones was just ridiculous in my opinion and it seems Joe Rogan agrees as well.

Conor McGregor Defeats Donald Cowboy Cerrone in 40 seconds at UFC 246
Like many UK MMA fans I stayed up all night to watch the main event at UFC 246 last weekend.
With the headline fight being fought around 5.30 AM UK time I didn't get to bed until 6am and with BT Sport changing their programming to charge PPV prices to customers.
I spoke to a woman at BT and asked her why they were now charging for UFC when up until now it had always been free to customers.
We are only going to charge for "Big Fights" she said over the phone. What constitutes a "Big Fight" to BT though?
The headline event at UFC was Conor McGregors comeback against Donald Cowboy Cerrone, and whilst it was a much anticipated event, it wasn't a title fight, and whilst the prelims were free to watch, the 4 fights on the main card weren't, and no belts were up to win.
So unlike many boxing events when UK TV channels only charge PPV for a title fight it seems BT might start charging for all future UFC events. If that is the case I might have to reconsider my BT Sport subscription as free UFC fights were one of the attractions for me to join BT, one of the good things about BT sport apart from their European Football and Premiership games.
I would have been pretty pissed off if I had paid considering the fight only lasted 40 seconds, and the other main fights weren't as good as some of the prelims, with the Holly Holms fight consisting of a really wound up Holly pacing the Octagon before and in-between rounds, then spending much of the fight against the fence in a clinch. Like the booing crowd I cannot be the only person who is upset at this change at BT Sports and I am pretty glad I used another free stream to show the main card to me.
Conor McGregor demolishes Donald Cowboy Cerrone
The main event whilst short was a spectacular quick destruction of the all time highest winner by head kicks, but unfortunately was over so quick, Cerrone didn't even get to throw a punch and only one kick. I was hoping the Cowboy would be able to provide a good stand up fight between two kick-boxers, a spectacle I find much more exciting to watch than a fight consisting of sparse stand up and full of BJJ. Although technical and complex finishes and locks are involved I just prefer stand up than floor fights.
The fight between Conor and Donald was so quick I think I can describe the 40 seconds from memory in-case the videos are taken down by YouTube.
Straight off in round 1 Conor ran out to meet Donald and threw a left hook that Donald ducked and they ended up in a clinch.
Conor then used a move I had never seen, neither it seems had Joe Rogan or the other commentators as he used the clinch to jump up and down repeatedly throwing his shoulder into Donald's nose, smashing it open.
They then broke apart and Donald threw a right kick to Conor's body before McGregor responded with his own left kick to the head of the Cowboy.
As Donald fell back stunned, Conor followed up with a left knee to his head that pushed Cerrone to the fence and Conor jumped on him with a flurry of punches taking him to the floor, where he jumped on top of him and hammered his head with his fists before the fight was stopped.
The doctors rushed in and had to tend to the Cowboy after the hammering to his head smashed his face in by both Conor's shoulder, kick, knee and fists.

The Big News
Although Conor had just delivered a complete perfect quick win over Donald who had to have the doctors attend him for a while after the stoppage, it seemed that the big news to McGregor was not the win but his new sized bottles of Whisky.

The arrogance of the 31 year old is so complete, I cannot believe he used his interview with Joe Rogan to advertise his goods.
"That's the big news", he actually said after talking about his Whisky.
Not the fact he had won fights at 3 weight levels, or the fact he had just won a fight in 40 seconds, or defeated the all time finisher by head kicks with a head kick, but his new Whisky bottles.
I wonder what Joe thought of that, if anyone knows please comment, as I thought it was just rude and disrespectful to his opponent to say that in his interview.
Holly Holms beats Raquel Pennington at UFC 246
The other main event on the card was the women's fight between Holly Holm and Raquel Pennington. I was expecting Rachel to do much better than she did against Holly and it seemed she ran out of ideas very quickly.
The original video was taken down and it seems there are loads of animated videos with cartoon like fighters in the ring replicating the moves on YouTube. Very odd to watch but I guess it's a way of getting round showing the real fight and being removed, however this video is the full fight with real people.

Post Fight Interview With Holly Holms and Joe Rogan
There was little stand up action and lots of clinches against the fence during the fight,
which didn't really excite me or the crowd. I even heard boos at one point, and this was the co-headline event, another reason I am angry at BT Sports for charging PPV for non title belt fights.
Holly actually apologised in her post fight interview with Joe Rogan
about the lack of stand up combat afterwards and said she was disappointed that she couldn't

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz go to war - and a guest appearance from the Rock!
#UFC244 was a dramatic New York UFC fight as always. The "Dog" Nate Diaz went to war with Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title at Madison Square Gardens and it was a great show of skills from both fighters.
Nate showed what a hard fighter he was taking blows and giving them straight back. Even Masvidal called Nate a "Dog" after the fight was suddenly stopped by a doctor due to bad cut on Nate's face that was incurred during the early rounds.
However it wasn't bleeding and their cut man had done a good job in preventing it spilling blood everywhere over the Octagon.
Nate was obviously disappointed and demanded a rematch straight away from Dana White and it will probably happen soon as Nate OR Jorge couldn't believe the fight was stopped over a cut, especially one in which we have seen much worse during UFC battles.

Yes I didn't believe my eyes at first but it was indeed Dwayne Johnson, or the Rock. Hanging about in the background until he could put the belt on the winner by TKO Jorge Masvidal.

Should the fight have been stopped due to the cut, have you seen worse injuries and a fight continue or should it have been stopped earlier. Personally the worst injury I ever saw in the UFC was Anderson Silva breaking his leg in his 2nd fight with Chris Weidman. What was yours?
Some people said after this fight that the respect shown between fighters and to the Dojo meant that UFC could become one of the most respected martial arts.
People say that MMA is a Mixed Martial Art as it takes parts of Kick Boxing, BJJ, Wrestling, and other martial arts, and fighters have to use all of them. However as it's becoming more and more usual for a UFC fighter to have to know both key components of MMA (Stand Up Fighting - the best parts of Kick Boxing/Muay Thai/Taekwondo) and (Floor Fighting - the best parts of BJJ, Wrestling, Jujitsu) to succeed in the octagon, then one day it will become a martial art on its own.
Just watch at the end the respect shown between Israel Adesanya and Anderson Silva, as they both kneel and pray on the cage floor, and hug each other for ages. I sure would love to know what Anderson was saying to Izzy for about 3 minutes in his ear after the fight. I wonder if Izzy will ever let us know?
I love this fight because Spiderman, Anderson Silva was my favourite MMA fighter before Israel Adesanya came along. Israel is undefeated at the Middleweight so far and faces his toughest fight yet tonight at UFC 248 against Yoel Romero for the middleweight belt. That fight is yet to happen as I write this but will be posted on the site for sure whatever the outcome.
Will Israel Adesanya become the next UFC's Spiderman or will someone else take that special title.
It just goes to show you don't have to be a ripped triangle chicken chest on steroids to fight. Skinny black dudes can do just as well, and Israel has all the right attributes being skinny, so there is less of a target to hit, and having long spindly arms and legs, which gives him reach advantage, and means anyone wanting to get close to him for a takedown attempt is likely to be spotted and struck before being able to.
Izzy is very good at spotting and defending against takedowns, and if you don't get him on the floor in the centre of the Octagon. You will just waste your time against the cage as he can spread his long legs so wide that the attacker has a big problem trying to trip him up and get him to the floor.
For me, the best moment of watching a Spiderman fight, was when he was trying to put his opponent off by moving his hands about in front of him, not blocking but just trying to make the other fighter not know his next move.
It always seemed like brilliant skill, when kicks or punches came his way but he just avoided them by inches as if they were nothing, putting the attacker off, that was until he got too cocky against Chris Weidman, and got sparked right out. Lesson learned.
However unless Izzy reigns for a long time, Anderson Silva will certainly go down in history as maybe the best Middleweight UFC fighter ever.

But I all know what you are coming here for, the big event down under UFC 243, where the current champion, Robert Whittaker, that mad fighter in the ring with punches that KO you, back kicks that will send you to the other side of the Octagon, and back heel kicks that if connect shake your brain like Rhinaas hips.

So a great fight with Israel just staying out of Robert Whittaker's range.
The Champion threw body kicks, head kicks, twisting flying kicks, and all sorts of punches but Israel just always managed to stay clear from, and when the two clashed, Whittaker would inflict one punch but Israel would come back out returning two clear punches.
That's what probably did it for Israel Adesanya as those double return punches inflated his number of significant strikes compared to Robert Whittakers, a lot who looked good at the start but missed their target.
Flying punches, flamboyant kicks but always missing their target, and Israel always keeping out of range. That was one thing I was impressed about Adesanya how he controlled the distance yet always seemed to be in the centre of the Octagon. He nearly finished him at the end of round one but the bell saved Robert's skin.

UFC 235 was last weekend and it was a great night for MMA fans, women who were celebrating International Women's Day can be proud that I turned over for the undercard and saw two women, Marion Reneau and Yana Kunitskaya kicking, punching, and beating the hell out of each other.... or maybe was that supposed to be ironic?
Anyway, the 2nd top fight of the night for me personally was the heavyweight slugfest between Blagoy Ivanov and Ben Rothwell which really was a fight to the death, and to be honest either man could have won that fight as it was fought with balls of steel and no-one wanted to taste defeat.

The main fight was between Derick Lewis v Don Santos and it was a major upset as the in shape Don Santos seemed to pick apart the less fit Derrick Lewis and he hit him with some heavy gut shots that obviously took the wind out of his sails and put him on the back foot.
It was only a matter of time before Don Santos got his TKO when he moved in with a punch, stunned Lewis, and then started hammer fisting him before the referee stepped in.

However, the best fight on that night I thought was between Jon Jones and Anthony Smith.
Jones kept his belt and his record as one of the best fighters about and during the match he used all his weaponry from head kicks, spinning back kicks, elbows, grappling and even an axe kick was thrown at one point.
He really was no match for his opponent Anthony Lionheart Smith who could not fight in the way his corner team kept instructing him to.
He was constantly trying to move away, never attacking, and only survived to a points decision by absorbing Jones's attacks somehow and not submitting or being knocked out.
For me, it was the fight of the night, and the post-fight interview showed how much respect Jones had for Smith when he congratulated him for taking so many hard blows from head to toe.

Full Fight Between Carl Frampton and Josh Warrington
This is a video of the full fight between Carl Frampton and Josh Warrington, just in case you missed it at the weekend.
It was a great fight with Josh Warrington coming out on top.
They were brave fighters, with no trash talk beforehand, showing each other lots of respect and putting boxing back where it belongs.
Without the hype, the face offs, the stupid press conferences and so on as we have seen in so many previous boxing matches where the hype was just too much.

This was one of the first BT BOX Office Sporting events they have shown which meant another £20 on top of your BT Sports subscription, normal BT broadband & TV plus the TV Licence AND let's not forget the adverts as well.
Are we getting too used to being ripped off at by our ISP's and TV content providers?
I think so when the fighters are making tens of millions at the very least we could have expected a decision on the fight and not a draw. That's not what I paid my money for including a bet on Tyson Fury winning on points which I obviously lost.
However this is the new world of "sports entertainment" and I am just happy the UFC is still free for the moment on BT as we have seen some great clashes lately in MMA action.
For those of you who missed the fight, Fury was winning on points but he got knocked to the floor twice. Wilder must have a hard punch to say the least. However it was the last knock down in the final round that probably kept the belt with Wilder, and it was a UK judge who made the split decision.
The Gypsy King even had the cheek to put his hands behind his back on numerous occasions offering his face to the hardest hitting man in boxing at the moment.

The retirement of Michael Bisping from UFC will be a major shame, especially to UK MMA stars, and I have already spotted him in a film "Den of Thieves" at the end in a coffee shop.

Anyway the fight with GSP who was retired at the time was brutal.
Whilst Bisping was still champion GSP decided to come out of retirement to fight him.
Dana White called it "one of UFC's biggest paydays" and it showed that the time away from the ring had done George’s St Pierre some good with his fighting skills but he still left the ring with a face that you would assume a loser would have not a come back fighter taking on the current champion.
The fights with GSP always seem to leave his face looking like a smashed in doll but he won the fight with TKO after taking Bisping to the floor and getting him in a choke hold.
Bisping's Bull Dog spirit would not let him tap out and he was prepared to go unconscious until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.

Michael Bisping announces official retirement from MMA
Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping officially announced his retirement from mixed martial arts on his Believe You Me Podcast, bringing an end to a 14-year career that saw Bisping establish himself as one of the most successful and longest tenured fighters in UFC history while also becoming a pioneer for MMA in the United Kingdom.
“So obviously I’ve teased this for a long time now, I might fight again, I might not. And unfortunately it’s not a fight that I’m announcing. I am going to announce my official retirement from mixed martial arts,” Bisping said.
Bisping, 39, has spoken openly about his indecision regarding his retirement since he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Kelvin Gastelum last November at UFC Shanghai, his second loss in a span of 22 days. Bisping admitted Monday that he was prepared to retire in June 2016 at UFC 199 if he lost his long-awaited shot at the middleweight title against Luke Rockhold, however his stunning upset of Rockhold changed his plans.
Having dealt with complications with his right eye since 2013, Bisping revealed that he suffered a separate injury to his left eye following the Gastelum fight. “The Count” said he started seeing “flashes” out of his left eye at a party in the aftermath of his loss to Gastelum, and those issues have persisted in the months since.
“I realized there’s no flash going on; it’s just my eye, and every time I look left, it flashes. And it still does it now when it’s dark,” Bisping said. “It’s light now so I can’t see it. So I started freaking out, thinking oh my God, I don’t believe this, I’ve got a detached retina in my good eye. I have problems with my bad eye, it doesn’t look good, so obviously I was kind of freaking out.”
Bisping said doctors diagnosed him with a vitreous detachment in his left eye, a condition that puts him at an increased risk for another detached retina.
Regardless, Bisping said he still moved forward with negotiations for a farewell fight against Rashad Evans for May 17 at UFC London. The matchup never came together though, and Bisping said he ultimately came to his decision to hang up his gloves Sunday night after watching the film Journeyman on a plane — a film in which an aging prizefighter suffers severe mental and physical problems as a result of brain trauma sustained in a late-career fight.
“I was watching this movie last night and I just thought, it ain’t worth it,” Bisping said. “It ain’t worth it. I mean, what else am I going to do? I’ve won the belt, I’ve had tons of wins, I’ve done everything that I set out to achieve. What’s the point in flogging a dead horse? Not that I’m a dead horse, but what’s the point? I’ve done everything that I set out to achieve, and fortunately now I’ve used my platform to open other doors. You know, you’ve got to know when to walk away. I’m almost 40 years old, the time is now. So, I want to say, first of all, thank you to my wife. Without her, it wouldn’t have happened. That’s a fact. She was incredible every single step of the way. My children. My dad. My dad was amazing. And of course everyone in the U.K. and around the world that supported me.
“So, yeah, there you go. Great career. That’s that. Thank you everybody.”
“Congrats to Michael on a Hall of Fame career,” Bisping’s manager Audie Attar said in a statement provided to MMAFighting.com.
“The Ultimate Fighter winner, two-time Ultimate fighter coach, winning fighter in UFC history and first British UFC Champion in history. I’ve been honored to work with Michael towards the championship years and have watched him fight through trials and tribulations as he was a perennial title contender, ultimately reaching the sport’s greatest achievement by winning a UFC Championship."

The Full Conor McGregor v Floyd Money Mayweather Fight
If you haven't seen it yet then this was the 50th win of Floyd Money Mayweather's career as he fought MMA star and 2 division belt holder the "The Notorious" Conor McGregor, in his first ever professional boxing match in Las Vegas.
Before the fight many people were predicting Conor to not even land a punch on who has undoubtedly been the best pound for pound defensive boxer of our generation.
However even the US commentators were surprised in the early rounds at the amount of shots Conor was landing on Mayweather.
It was Floyds plan to tire Conor out in the early rounds and then get him in the later ones, but even he didn't expect Conor to hit him more times in 10 rounds, when the fight was stopped, than many other fighters had in 12.
If only Conor had managed to land one of his strong left power punches instead of right hand jabs that kept Money Mayweather at bay then we could have seen an upset early on. However it was not to be.
Watch for yourselves but I personally think Notorious Conor McGregor takes the first 4 rounds on points.
He was upset that the referee stepped in and wanted to hit the canvas, however the ref made the right decision as he wasn't protecting himself or fighting back and his legs were jelly and ice cream.
He did forgot about the MMA v Boxing rules on more than a few occasions with quite a few hammer punches to the back of Mayweathers head. However all in all it was a better fight than I and probably most other viewers expected it to be.

Not something people do everyday but here is Conor McGregor slapping Floyd Mayweather's peanut head.
It maybe a peanut but it will be much harder to punch without Conor softening him up first with some kind of abuse, usually a few leg kicks. However this isn't going to happen in Las Vegas later this month which makes it so strange Conor is risking humiliation at the hands off the best defensive fighter ever known when he has never even boxed properly.
Here he is slapping his peanut head as he called it even though many fighters have never even landed a glove on it.
Of course this is all about the money. Conor just has too big a head after winning belts at two divisions and beating the previous best fighter in the division Eddie Alvarez and of course beating Jose Aldo in 13 seconds.
Top 5 KO's by Conor
It's totally Oranges and Lemons. Conor would smash Floyd to bits in a real fight and Mayweather knows this. It must be going around his head, the way Conor has humiliated him on the world tour, especially after he called him "boy", which caused a bit of a controversy in New York.
Mayweather would be crazy to step into an Octagon as Conor would take his legs away, back kick him to the fence before left punch or elbowing him to the face and then maybe, not that Conor seems to like it much, but a bit of ground and pound.
Conor is 10 Years younger Floyd is having to come back down to 12 stones after an 2 year break with little training, this could be dangerous and play into Conor's hands. He can take a punch but he doesn't really like the ground n pound especially after the "tap tap" as Floyd called his defeat to Nate Diaz.
Plus he is putting his unbeaten record on all on the line for a freak show, Man v Kangaroo fight where McGregor doesn't have all his weapons to hand, and has never boxed properly, let alone the best pound for pound fighter we have ever seen.
If he loses it will haunt him forever.
Whatever happens I don't want to fork out £100 to see two men standing in the ring waiting for counter attacks and with Mayweather at 1/100 on there is no money to be made on the seemingly victorious Mayweather.
I have put some down on the hope Conor gets lucky or freaks out and does a sneeky headbut or knee whilst in a clinch that takes Mayweather's breath away.
Clovis Hancock fought Nikolay Veretennikov in an MMA contest LFA 7 on Friday and it didn't go too well.
He came out in the first round and tried to finish it early with a fancy capoeira kick, totally missed, and nearly knocked himself out on the floor.
You don't and shouldn't start a fight like that in almost every book written about the sport.
Clovis Hancock could have been jumped on by Nikolay and finished there and then, but his opponent actually said this about not doing exactly that.
Hancock’s opponent, Veretennikov (4-2) was so stunned by how terrible that looked that he didn’t know how to react, except to raise his hand in the air like, “Nah.”
Well at least Nikolay came for a fight and not an easy bloody blob on the floor in round one.
However worst of all the fight was ended by a kick to the head of Clovis Hancock in round 3.
Golden Rule, don't try fancy kicks if you are not going to pull them off accurately.
