Anthony Joshua loses all his belts to Oleksandr Usyk

Yet again we will have to wait for a rematch to see if AJ can reclaim all his belts after losing them to a much better boxer in Oleksandr Usyk

• Anthony Joshua's second reign as heavyweight champion has come to an end after defeat by Oleksandr Usyk .
• The British star came unstuck against former unified cruiserweight champion Usyk in Tottenham, London .
• Joshua, 31, was unable to find his range with Usyk's surgical precision bamboozling the heavyweight king. 
• The three ringside judges scored the fight 117-112, 116-112, 115-113 in the Ukrainian star's favour.
• Joshua's defeat in London has served a devastating blow to his £200million mega-fight with Tyson Fury.

This is the 2nd time a run of the mill fight on his path to a re-unification of ALL the Heavyweight belts has been stopped by a loss. The first being to Andy Ruiz Jr. Anthony Joshua lost all three of his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles after being stopped in the seventh round by huge outsider Andy Ruiz Jr at Madison Square Gardens in New York. With Anthony Johnson just losing all his belts yet again to Oleksandr Usyk by unanimous decision after being outfoxed and out boxed by the speedy Ukrainian over 12 rounds in Tottenham just a week before the Trilogy of fights between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder were about to fight, it looked like their bout would not be happening, and an all English Heavyweight Unification fight would not occur at all.

You can watch Anthony Joshua getting demolished here if you want. It was a real shock to UK fans and probably AJ himself to find he was on the losing side yet again and will have to hope to reclaim his title belts in a re-match yet again!

Whether AJ has the skill to train and then beat Usyk before Tyson retires I don't know, but the plan was for Tyson to have one more fight to re-unify all the belts and had it been two Englishmen boxing for that event which we haven't seen in a long time.

It would have been amazing for English Boxing especially if they had fought in the UK. Maybe at Wembley or the O2 arena, can you imagine it, a UK fight, fought at a time fit for English people not American's so that we don't have to stay up until 5am to watch a scrap in Las Vegas. The queues for tickets would have stretched for miles and miles.

Personally I want to see a re-unification fight for ALL the belts, whoever holds them, and then for all the heavyweight belts to be scrapped and just one heavyweight belt made that the winner gets. Let's join up the WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF, IBO titles and any others like the Lineal title and Ring Magazine belts. So that there is only ever one Heavyweight champion which would mean boxers had no excuse to ignore fights and keep one belt and all would be fighting to get that single no 1 spot in the world. 

Having too many heavyweight belts (also any division), makes it seem watered down to me. When AJ had a set of belts but no-one would fight him, and he had trouble getting the fights he wanted, with one belt this would not happen. Tell me what you think?

UFC 244 - Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz go to war for the BMF belt in New York

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz go to war - and a guest appearance from the Rock!

#UFC244 was a dramatic New York UFC fight as always. The "Dog" Nate Diaz went to war with Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title at Madison Square Gardens and it was a great show of skills from both fighters. 

Nate showed what a hard fighter he was taking blows and giving them straight back. Even Masvidal called Nate a "Dog" after the fight was suddenly stopped by a doctor due to bad cut on Nate's face that was incurred during the early rounds.

However it wasn't bleeding and their cut man had done a good job in preventing it spilling blood everywhere over the Octagon.

Nate was obviously disappointed and demanded a rematch straight away from Dana White and it will probably happen soon as Nate OR Jorge couldn't believe the fight was stopped over a cut, especially one in which we have seen much worse during UFC battles.

Yes I didn't believe my eyes at first but it was indeed Dwayne Johnson, or the Rock. Hanging about in the background until he could put the belt on the winner by TKO Jorge Masvidal.

Should the fight have been stopped due to the cut, have you seen worse injuries and a fight continue or should it have been stopped earlier. Personally the worst injury I ever saw in the UFC was Anderson Silva breaking his leg in his 2nd fight with Chris Weidman. What was yours?

Anthony Joshua v Jarrell Miller

June 1st Madison Square Garden - Big Babby Jarrel Miller v Anthony Joshua

This breakdown includes the best knockouts, TKO's and finishes by the up coming up clash between Anthony Joshua and "Big Babby" Jarrel Miller, the ex kick boxer.

Hopefully we will get to see a knockdown in this fight, as the last 2 UK fights I have commented on wishing to see a KO finish just never materialised. Sure I made some money from betting on these fights ending on a decision finish but I'd have rather lost those bets and seen great explosive endings than winning on Eubank at 3/1 to win by decision.

This time I will be betting a smaller stake as I am secretly hoping AJ can put JM's ass on the canvass pretty soon but it's always wise to go with your gut. Also if AJ doesn't KO Big Babby, I think the price for a Ref's decision is going to be slightly more than the 3/1 price I got from the Eubank JNR v DeGale fight.

A smaller stake with bigger odds will even it out, and with a better than nothing chance of a TKO or KO finish to this fight I won't be losing too much if AJ gets Miller to a 10 count. Or if by some miracle Jarrel manages to eat AJ's punches and go the full distance then the bet will pay me back for another uneventful ending to British boxers match. 

Either way I will be happy, a points decision or an AJ KO/TKO and if they fight like the UK Boxing warriors I have been waiting for over the last six months then I will happily walk away with my money in the bookies pocket if another poor finish ends the night,

I said it before the Eubank v DeGale fight, I said it before the Frampton v Warrington fight, and excluding some knockdowns do we really have to go all the way back to Money Mayweather beating Conor McGreggor with a TKO to get the nearest top fighter from these Isles to finish on the canvas.

Also Conor is Irish, not a real Boxer, and didn't actually want to finish by a TKO anyway preferring to go down for the full count. Added to that he could have at any moment ended the fight in style with a backward spinning kick to throw Mayweather halfway across the front seats. That would have bested any boxing ending I have seen so far for sure and probably earned Conor a standing ovation.

So this time I demand a KO from AJ or Miller, the most likely outcome being a KO or TKO giving AJ the win in the end as I can't see Miller giving AJ any problems in this upcoming headliner.
