Did Amir Khan Quit During The Terence Crawford Fight
Amir Khan talks here about the constant low blows he received from Terence Crawford during the fight he had to quit during a low blow punch to the groin.
What do you think?
Did he quit or did the low blows from a cheat (if true), stop the fight?
The Fight Between Amir Khan versus Terence Crawford
The fight between Amir Khan and Terence Crawford was a bit of a letdown as it ended with Khan throwing in the towel after a very heavy low blow to Khans lower regions.
Some people are saying he took the easy option to get out of the fight as he knew he was going to lose to Crawford who was outboxing him easily in New York'sMadison Square Gardens arena.
Others would disagree as it was a bit of a low way to win a fight with an illegal punch. Khan could have taken the 5 minutes allowed before deciding to carry on or not but he immediately indicated to his team that he couldn't and Crawford won by default.
I bet the fans who paid to watch the fight in New York or on Pay Per View felt pretty let down to see the headline fight end with such an ending.
Amir Khan v Terence Crawford - Full Fight
Let me know what you think about the way it ended.
Did Amir Khan throw in the towel due to real pain which is perfectly possible, or should he have waited the 5 minutes allowed before deciding?
Surely Crawford would have had a point deducted for that whack to Khans lower region and Khan could have carried on and at least fought to the end.

Crawford has a perfect 34-fight record and has seen him capture 3 world titles in different weight classes, including holding all four belts to become an undisputed champion at super-lightweight in 2017.
Khan's last world-title shot saw him knocked out by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in 2016. The former super-lightweight champion had stepped up to middleweight to face the classy Mexican but questions over the durability of his chin arrived quickly nonetheless.
If you want to see something amusing then check out this final stare down between the two pugilists as Crawford refuses to move during his face to face with Khan.
So who do you think will win and if Khan loses what round will he get his glass jaw smashed in?
Don't like betting have a go at this game we will play on future events.
If your fighter knocks out their opponent in an early round the more points they get. If you are on the favourite and you get beaten by a TKO its bad.
Check the rules out then add your fighter and round or going the distance in the comments.
First Round - 10 points
Under 3 rounds - 8 points
Under 5 rounds - 6 points
Under 7 rounds - 4 points
Under 10 rounds - 3 points
KO or TKO - 5 points + (12 - the round ) their opponent was knocked out in, - 5 if favourite was floored but +5 if underdog won by TKO/KO.
e.g Crawford floored in round 4 means 5 points + (12 total rounds - round 4 KO = 8) = 13 points - 5 (as they were the favourite) so a total of 8 points.
But if Khan won by KO or TKO in round 4 means 5 points + (12 rounds - round 4 KO =8) = 13 points + 5 (as they were the underdog) so a total of 18 points!
