Tony Bellew vs David Haye full fight
youtube.comWell I am glad I put David Haye v Tony Bellew in a TKO/KO before 12th round as the price for a win was pathetic plus I was going to chose David Haye to win!
They threw in the towel in the 11th round saying he could no longer continue. So I got the first leg right and whoever wins in the Joshua fight as long as it doesn't go the full length I get some money.
Anthony Joshua was the other double and he is due to fight Wladimir Klitschko soon. I put them both in won't go the distance bets as there is no telling who will really win only that they are all good fighters and someone will get a punch on the chin during the fight sometime.
This is a post fight interview with Tony Bellew
David Haye basically got battered from round one and how he held on to round 11 I don't know.
The number of missed punches was in the thousands I think and at the end Hayes hands were at his hips and he looked no different from a mental patient as he fell through the ropes for the 2nd time that round just before the towel was thrown in.
Even as he was getting back through the ropes the 2nd time to fight and the towel had been thrown in he was still up for a fight.
The problem with David is his arms are too short so he can't just stand and jab his opponent away and Klitschko showed that to great effect when they fought earlier. David Haymaker Haye I call him as he has to throw them bombs to get his hands near an opponent so much further away.
In the 11th round he was no different from a patient on a mental ward. Head dozing downwards, both arms at his waist but still Bellew didn't finish him off as he could and should have done.
Haye was put through the ropes twice in the 11th round and on the 2nd occasion as he was trying to get back through them his team through the towel in.
David has to find spots were he can get in and jab and get away without being blown away. He needs to find gaps in the other fighters tiredness and then blow him away with a volley of accurate shots.
The thing is that didn't happen and Bellew was lucky they threw in the towel as he seemingly wasn't going to finish it off.
The full fight was taken down by YouTube / Sky etc, you have to be quick if you don't have the sports on your TV and want to watch from YouTube videos. We had 4 full fights up here the day after and now they are all gone - their channels banned too probably.
