CZW Tournament Of Death 8: Mad US Wrestling
When I first saw this online I thought it was some kind of fake joke but it seems people are really "wrestling" with barbed wire, garden tools and electrical appliances out in the USA.
You can still see the fakeness of it all as no-one would just let themselves have a power tool put to their head or the fake bounce off the rope slaps round their opponents faces, as they stamp the floor to make the sound of a hard slap.
It just seems to be WWF (from my day), with extra fake weak tables and the added excitement of power tools and people mad enough to let them be used on them.
Would you let someone bend you over just to staple a piece of paper into your back?
Wrestling seems to come a long way from the days of fake arguments and blind referees missing all the action behind them from WWE. With the "good guy" heroes like The Rock, Hulk Hogan and the bad guys like The Undertaker and Batista.
Did you notice the other night at UFC 244 in Madison Square Gardens when the Rock made a surprise appearance to give the belt to a not very happy looking winner Jorge Masvidal?
This was all due to the headline fight between Nate Diaz and Masvidal being stopped by a doctor due to a deep cut on Nate's face.
His teams cut man had done a good job stopping the bleeding but the fight was still stopped. Compare the amount of deep cuts, blood on the mat and smashed up faces from MMA fights in the UFC to these comical wrestling matches with power tools at the "CZW Tournament Of Death".
You would expect a whole lot more blood on the mat and maybe a finger or hand or two wouldn't you? At least it keeps the kids entertained, and seemingly quite a lot of older American men who still believe WWE wrestling is real.

I wonder how many US kids think this is all real just as I did when watching World of Sports and Big Daddy fighting Giant Haystacks on a Saturday afternoon?
Would you tell your kid it was all just fake or let them believe the action was all real as someone was thrown out the ring and through a table after having a grinder put to his head?
I thought it was mad as fxxk when I first saw this. I just thought it was Southern Americans, drunk on moonshine, having a bit too much fun with items they could steal from their shed before the wife woke up.
ReplyDeleteThese are some god dam crazy yanky doodles. What is it in the American psyche that lets them believe this crap is real, cheering as the "wrestlers" let their opponents put grinders and other power tools on their bodies. Madness.
ReplyDeleteThese yanksare just mental and I mean they have a mental age of a stunted kid.
